The feet behind the design
 
These feet began life during lockdown.
 
When the world had suddenly become very small, I spent a lot of time doing creative projects with my boys. One particularly memorable day involved paint, feet, hands, fingers — and rather a lot of printing! 
 
What started as a fun way of spending time together sparked an idea: what if I turned our actual family footprints into designs?
 
Those real prints became the starting point for a growing collection of foot-inspired artwork — including the footprints used in this design.
 
So these aren't stock footprints downloaded from an image library. They started life attached to actual members of my family, covered in paint during lockdown.
 
Behind the feet, there's usually a story.
