What is Facial Reflexology?
This method of Facial Reflexology was developed by award winning Reflexologist Ziggie Bergman. It is a non-invasive, natural Complementary Therapy based on the same principles as Foot Reflexology. It provides the same therapeutic benefits as regular Reflexology but with some wonderful added benefits. Although not classed as a facial or beauty treatment, Facial Reflexology is a wonderful natural way to achieve a beautiful radiant glow and healthier, younger looking skin.
Using The Bergman Zone Method of Facial Reflexology which is built on a combination of Native American techniques and Asian body maps, a deeply restorative treatment is carried out combined with an insightful reading of the reflexes.
Its effectiveness is found in its ability to send impulses through the body’s nervous system and energy pathways to the major organs and
physical body, encouraging the individual’s natural healing process to be activated to maintain health and balance to the whole body.
The healing experience of facial reflexology not only gives you all the benefits of foot reflexology, in promoting deep relaxation helping to relieve many symptoms of stress and fatigue, it also gives you a rejuvenating transformation through lifting and sculpting facial muscles by stimulating blood flow, increasing circulation to the face and head. Using a range of massage and natural facelift techniques, facial reflexology has a wonderful effect on the skin in helping to strengthen layers of skin tissue and improving skin tone, leaving it looking radiant and glowing with an uplifting effect.
Facial Reflexology is very effective in improving lymphatic drainage encouraging the elimination of toxins and can help relieve muscle tension, mental strain, headaches & migraines.
Facial Reflexology aims to reduce the symptoms and effects of many common ailments including sinusitis and congestion problems, insomnia, lack of energy, IBS and other stress related issues. It can be particularly useful for people suffering with neurological conditions by working closely with the central nervous system and the muscles of the face and head.
